Support manual
FocalHue Support Manual
Photo controls, layer action menus, frame animation, video editing, selfie beauty tools, point effects, audio and exports.
Photo editor
Top bar and tool options
Projects / File / Edit
Projects opens browser saves and portable backups for photo and animation. File opens document creation, imports, downloads and recovery. Edit opens clipboard, selection, transform and layer actions.
Open / Export / Reset
Open adds image files as layers. Export opens filename, PNG/JPG/WebP and quality controls. Reset asks before clearing this photo canvas; Undo restores it.
Animation / Video / Tutorial / Help
Animation and Video switch workspaces. Tutorial above Help opens the walkthrough when you choose; it never opens on page load. Help includes resumable tutorials at the top and the complete manual below. Photo and animation stay together; video timelines are temporary.
Size / Hardness / Opacity
Size sets brush diameter or line width. Hardness changes edge softness. Opacity controls the strength of the next stroke, fill or shape, not the entire layer.
Strength / Match / Auto / All objects
Strength controls Blend In; Match controls Shade. Auto blend or Auto shade changes the clicked object in one action. All objects lets supported tools work across unlocked visible image layers; turn it off for only the active layer.
Fill / Tolerance / Set sample / Tool tutorial
Fill makes rectangles and ellipses solid. Tolerance controls connected color matching for Bucket and Wand. Set sample resets the Clone or Healing source. The question mark reopens that tool’s guide.
Font / Size / B / I / Edit text
Choose font, size, bold and italic for new text. Click the canvas to enter text, color, alignment and spacing. Edit text revises an existing text layer; Save text commits the change.
Foreground / Background / Swap
The front color paints and fills; the back color is your secondary swatch. Click a swatch to pick a color. X or Swap exchanges them.
Layers / Adjustments / Close panel on phones
Use the bottom Layers or Adjustments buttons to open the matching panel. Close it to return to the canvas. Tool and top-bar rows scroll horizontally when space is tight.
Layer action menus
Right-click / ⋯ / Back
Right-click an object on the canvas or a layer row, or tap its ⋯ menu. Canvas right-click selects the topmost visible object under the pointer. All menus share the same actions. On phones, open a category and use Back to return. Unavailable actions are dimmed.
Blending options / Duplicate / Rename / Hide / Lock / Delete
Blending options edits layer blend and opacity. Duplicate creates a copy; Rename changes the name. Hide toggles visibility and Lock protects edits. Delete removes an unlocked layer, except the last remaining layer.
New layer / New group / Ungroup
New layer creates transparent pixels. New group assigns a group name; assign the same name to other layers to organize them together. Ungroup removes that membership without moving layers.
Link layers / Select linked layers / Move up / Move down / Color
Link layers attaches movement to neighboring linked layers without overriding locks. Select linked layers outlines the combined bounds of linked members. Move up/down changes stacking order. Color offers no color, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet and gray; swatches mark labeled layers without recoloring pixels. Undo and saved projects preserve labels.
Isolate / Release from isolation
Isolate temporarily shows one layer for inspection. Release returns to normal visibility. Isolation is a viewing aid; release it before exporting the complete image.
Add mask / Mask selection / Mask all objects
Add mask starts fully revealed. Mask selection reveals the selected region. Mask all objects adds masks to eligible unlocked image layers. Hide and Reveal mask brushes refine them without deleting pixels.
Enable or disable / Apply / Remove mask
Toggle preview to compare with the original. Apply permanently bakes a mask into pixels; Undo restores it. Remove discards the mask and reveals the unchanged source.
Create or release clipping mask
Clipping uses the silhouette of a lower image layer to contain this layer. Release removes that constraint. Keep the base below the clipped layer.
Frame from layer / Artboard from layer
Frame from layer selects its bounds. Artboard crops the document to the layer’s bounds; it does not create a separate multi-artboard document. Undo restores the canvas.
Smart object / New smart object via copy / Edit contents
Smart object keeps a local source image for resizing. Smart copy duplicates it independently. Edit contents opens a small source editor; save to update the layer. Text contents opens typography controls.
Replace or relink contents / Reset transform / Rasterize / Convert to layers
Replace or relink chooses a local image file; no online library is linked. Reset restores the smart source dimensions. Rasterize or Convert to layers returns editable pixels, removing smart/text metadata.
Copy / Paste / Clear layer style
Copy stores blend mode and opacity. Paste applies those values to the target. Clear returns Normal blending and full opacity. Rasterize layer style bakes opacity into image pixels for Normal-blend layers; other blend modes depend on the lower stack and must be merged instead. Shapes in the photo workspace are painted pixels, not vector objects.
Edit adjustment
Right-click an adjustment layer and choose Edit adjustment to preview its saved color controls. Save adjustment commits one undoable edit; closing discards the preview.
Merge down / Merge group / Merge visible / Flatten image
These bake eligible layers together. Locked layers, adjustment layers and separated groups can prevent a partial merge. Flatten bakes the visible result, including adjustments. Save an editable backup first; Undo reverses a merge.
Quick PNG / Export as / Export contents / Copy CSS / Copy SVG
Quick PNG exports the masked layer with opacity. Export as offers format and quality. Export contents downloads the original smart source when present. CSS copies placement/style; SVG wraps the raster layer in SVG, rather than tracing vectors.
Professional photo toolkit
More photo tools
The sparkle button at the top of the tool rail opens Magic Wand (W), Clone Stamp (S), Healing Brush (H), Spot Healing (Q), and mask brushes. On phones it is the first button in the scrolling tool row.
Tool tutorials
Selecting a magic tool, mask brush or Paint Bucket opens a quick explanation and three guided steps. Next advances; Use tool returns to the canvas. Don’t show me this again remembers your choice for that tool on this browser. The question-mark button in the options bar always reopens the guide, where you can uncheck that choice. Content-aware fill shows its guide before repair unless you have opted out. Close or Escape dismisses a guide without changing your image.
Magic Wand
Click a connected color region on the active layer. Tolerance controls color similarity. The precise region can be copied, cut, cleared, masked or repaired; the outline follows its edges.
Layer masks
Open Photo toolkit → Layer masks. Add mask starts fully visible; Mask selection reveals only the current selection. Hide brushes conceal pixels and Reveal brushes bring them back. Disable or remove the mask to recover the original. Masks work on image and adjustment layers.
Clone Stamp and Healing Brush
Choose a tool and click a source area first, then brush the destination. Alt-click samples a new source; Set sample supports touch. Clone copies texture; Healing blends the sampled colors toward the destination. Size, hardness and opacity control the stroke.
Spot Healing / Content-aware fill
Spot Healing repairs small brush-sized areas using surrounding pixels. Select an unwanted area and choose Edit → Content-aware fill, or Photo toolkit → Retouching. This is local texture repair, not AI-generated object removal; large or complex backgrounds may need further cloning. Undo reverses every stroke or fill.
Editable typography
Text opens a dialog with multiline content, font, size, color, bold, italic, alignment and line spacing. Text stays on its own layer. Select it and use Edit → Edit text or Photo toolkit → Edit text to revise it. Rasterize only when you want to paint directly on that layer.
Adjustment layers
Adjustments → Add adjustment layer creates an editable effect above the image stack without changing source pixels. Its eye and opacity control the effect; add a mask for selective adjustments. Select the adjustment, choose Edit saved adjustment in Photo toolkit, change settings and Save adjustment. Effects apply to all visible layers below them.
Color grading & curves
Photo toolkit contains Vibrance, Cyan/Red, Magenta/Green and Yellow/Blue color balance, plus three curve controls for shadows, midtones and highlights with anchored black/white endpoints. Save them in an adjustment layer.
Groups and smart objects
Give related layers the same Layer group name. Group eyes toggle them together without changing stacking order. Smart object preserves source pixels during resizing; Restore source size recovers the original dimensions. Rasterize enables paint edits. These are local image smart objects, not linked files or Adobe PSD objects.
Saves and phones
Projects and editable backups retain masks, groups, source images, text settings, adjustment layers and precise selections. On phones, open Adjustments → Photo toolkit; advanced controls remain collapsed until needed.
Reset, File, Edit and advanced options
Reset canvas
The reset-arrow button or File → Reset canvas clears the photo document to a white background after confirmation. Its current dimensions are kept. Undo restores the layers; animation and saved projects are not changed.
File
Create a canvas, open images, download the full image as PNG/JPG/WebP or download just the selected layer as PNG. Local recovery contains the auto-save toggle, Save now and Restore auto save.
Edit
Undo/redo, cut/copy/paste, selection and canvas transformations are joined by new, duplicate, clear and delete layer actions. Clear removes pixels while keeping the layer. Locked layers cannot be cleared or deleted.
Advanced options
Expand Advanced options on the right for canvas/image size, fit view, numeric tool settings, font family/size, bold/italic and edge alignment. Reset tool settings restores defaults without erasing the artwork. Text layers can be revised using Edit text.
On phones
The top action row scrolls sideways to keep File, Edit and Reset available. Open Adjustments at the bottom, then expand Advanced options; the panel scrolls vertically. Layers has its own bottom panel.
Animation controls
Animation File exports the current frame or sprite sheet. Edit includes undo/redo, object/limb duplication, deletion, detaching and frame duplication. Reset clears only the current frame after confirmation; Undo restores both paint and objects.
Advanced animation
Open Properties → Advanced options for object color, stroke width, fill, straighten, forward/backward drawing order and numeric FPS. On phones, use the bottom Properties button. Straighten keeps the object size; joints remain attached.
Browser projects and backups
Projects
Open Projects in either workspace. No sign-in needed — projects are saved privately in this browser on this device.
Save project
Name your project and save it. Saves include photo layers, pixels, placement, adjustments, selections, clipboard and history, plus animation frames, editable shapes, smooth-flow starts, groups, settings and history. Both workspaces stay together when moving between them.
Open / Save a copy
Open a saved project from your project list, or save a separate copy. Opening replaces unsaved work; save first.
Delete
Delete a saved project with its trash icon. Clearing your browser's site data also removes saved projects.
Portable backups
Projects → Download backup saves both workspaces as an editable .focalhue.json file, including layers, shapes and history. Import backup opens that file on another device without signing in; choose Save project afterwards to keep it in that browser. Invalid files are rejected. Maximum import size: 100 MB.
Open, view and save
Open
Choose one or more image files. The first image sets the document size; every image opens on its own layer.
Drag and drop
Drop image files anywhere over the editor to open them as layers.
Paste an image
Paste an image copied from another app. It appears centered on a new movable layer.
Zoom and Fit
Use − and + to zoom, 100% for actual size, or Fit to see the whole canvas. Ctrl/Cmd + 0 also fits; Ctrl/Cmd + scrolling zooms from 5% to 800%.
PNG
Exports the visible result as focalhue.png and preserves transparency.
JPG
Exports the visible result as focalhue.jpg with a white background.
Status
The bottom-left readout shows document dimensions and the pointer position in pixels.
Photo editor tools
V · Move
Click visible content to pick its topmost layer, then drag to move it. Drag a square handle to resize; corners keep proportions unless Shift is held. Drag a blue corner dot to rotate; hold Shift to snap to 15° steps.
M · Rectangle Select
Drag a rectangular area for cut, copy, clearing or pasting.
L · Lasso
Click points to build a straight-edged outline. Click the first point, double-click, or press Enter to close it. Hold Alt and drag for a continuous freehand outline.
J · Lift Selection
Outline an area like Lasso. Closing the outline copies its contents to a separate movable layer and leaves the source unchanged.
C · Crop
Drag the part of the document to keep. Releasing the pointer trims the canvas to that area.
B · Brush
Paint with the foreground color. Set size, edge hardness and opacity in the bar above the canvas; the pointer ring shows the affected area.
E · Eraser
Erase editable pixels under the brush. All objects is on by default; turn it off to erase only the active layer. Size, hardness and opacity control the stroke. Undo restores erased pixels; masks are the reversible alternative.
G · Paint Bucket
Fill a connected area on the active layer. Tolerance controls how similar neighboring colors must be. A selection limits the fill, and Opacity controls its strength.
N · Line
Drag to draw a straight line with the chosen color, size and opacity.
U · Rectangle
Drag to draw a rectangle. Turn Fill on for a solid shape or off for an outline.
O · Ellipse
Drag to draw an ellipse. Turn Fill on for a solid shape or off for an outline.
T · Text
Click the canvas or choose Text style to add editable text on its own layer. The dialog includes font, color, size, bold, italic, alignment, line spacing, a two-color gradient with direction and an outline with color and width. Size and line spacing can be cleared while typing — the last valid number returns when you leave the box, and it never drops to zero. The preview updates before you apply. Select a text layer and choose Edit text to revise it; Undo restores the previous style.
R · Blend In
Drag to smudge neighboring colors while preserving the object's transparency. Size, hardness, opacity and strength control the effect; selections limit it. Auto blend applies a soft color smoothing to the clicked object in one action. One Undo restores the original.
A · Shade
Brush over an object to match its lighting and color cast to nearby visible objects. It adjusts existing pixels, preserving facial details, texture and transparency rather than painting over them. Match and Opacity control the strength; it can lighten or darken. Auto shade matches the entire clicked object to the other visible objects in one action. All objects affects every editable object under a manual stroke; turn it off to change only the selected layer. Selections limit the affected area, and one Undo reverses the whole action. With no neighboring object, nothing changes. This is local color and exposure matching, not automatic 3D relighting.
K · Copy Color
Click any pixel to copy its hex color code to the clipboard and set it as the foreground color.
I · Eyedropper
Click the visible image to make that pixel the foreground color.
Colors
Click the overlapping swatches to choose foreground and background colors. Choose swap or press X to exchange them.
Selections and clipboard
Cut
Copies the selected pixels, removes them from the active layer, and closes the selection.
Copy
Copies pixels inside the selection without changing the layer. FocalHue also tries to place the result on the system clipboard.
Paste
Creates a new layer from the latest copied selection or an image on the system clipboard. Clipboard permission may be requested.
All / Deselect
Select the whole document or remove the current marching-ants outline.
Delete selection
Backspace or Delete clears pixels inside the selection without deleting the layer.
Layers, adjustments and transforms
Layer list
Click a layer to make it active. Rename it in place, use the eye to show or hide it, and use the arrow buttons to change its stacking order.
Precision and organization
Properties provides X, Y, Width and Height fields and horizontal/vertical centering. Grid displays 20-pixel guides; Snap rounds movement to that grid. Duplicate layer creates an editable copy. The lock icon protects a layer from painting, resizing, moving and deleting until unlocked.
New / Delete
Create a transparent document-sized layer or remove the active layer. The final remaining layer cannot be deleted.
Layer opacity
Fade the active layer from fully transparent to fully opaque.
Blend mode
Combine the active layer with layers below using Normal, Multiply, Screen, Overlay and other blend modes.
Adjustments
Preview brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, blur, grayscale, sepia and invert, then Add adjustment layer for an editable non-destructive effect over layers below. Photo toolkit adds color balance, vibrance and tonal curves. Reset returns unsaved sliders to defaults.
Transforms
Flip the active layer horizontally or vertically, or rotate it 90° clockwise.
Undo history
Undo and redo document edits. FocalHue keeps up to 40 editor states.
Animation studio
Animation tools and editable shapes
Open Animation from the top-right of the photo editor. The studio uses its own 800 × 500 canvas and does not import photo-editor layers.
V · Select
Click a line, rectangle or ellipse to reveal its editing handles. Drag the shape to move it; click empty space or press Esc to hide the handles.
Resize / rotate
Drag a white corner square to resize an editable shape. Drag the blue dot above it to rotate; hold Shift to snap to 15° steps.
Shape styling
While a shape is selected, Color, Size and Fill shape update that object. Brush strokes and bucket fills are painted pixels and cannot be selected as objects.
B · Brush / E · Eraser
Paint or erase freehand pixels. The circular pointer follows the cursor and shows the selected size.
N · Line / U · Rectangle / O · Ellipse
Drag to create an editable object. Rectangles and ellipses can be filled or outlined.
G · Fill
Fill a connected painted area. Editable shape outlines act as walls while the fill stays on the paint layer underneath them.
Background
Choose the canvas background shown in every frame and included in the exported sprite sheet.
Delete shape
Select a shape, then use Delete shape, Backspace or Delete. Paint strokes must be erased instead.
Undo
Undo changes on the current frame. Each frame keeps up to 30 states.
Redo
Redo restores an undone paint or shape edit on the current frame. A new edit clears redo. Use Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z or Ctrl/Cmd + Y.
Objects
The left panel lists editable shapes. Rename objects, select them, toggle their eyes to show/hide, or lock them. Duplicate object (Ctrl/Cmd + D) copies a shape and all its attached parts with fresh identities. Locked parts protect a rig from manipulation.
Properties
Set X/Y center position, Width, Height and Rotation numerically. Center buttons align to the artboard. Grid shows 20-pixel guides; Snap rounds movement to them. On phones, Objects and Properties open from the bottom buttons.
Frames and playback
Timeline
Click a thumbnail to edit that frame. The readout shows the current frame, total frames and animation duration.
Group frames
Choose a name and the first and last frames to group. Rename groups in the timeline, collapse or expand their thumbnails, or ungroup with the × icon. Grouping does not change playback order, duration or smooth motion. New and duplicated frames inherit the current frame's group.
New frame
Inserts a blank frame immediately after the current frame.
Duplicate
Copies the current frame and its editable shapes into a new frame. Use this when the same object should continue across frames.
Duplicate range
Range opens first/last frame inputs and inserts copies after the current frame, preserving object identities and group membership. An animation is limited to 300 frames.
Delete frame
Removes the current frame. If it is the only frame, its contents are cleared instead.
Move frame
Use the left and right chevrons to reorder the current frame in the timeline.
Onion skin
While editing, shows the previous frame at low opacity to help line up motion.
FPS
Choose playback speed from 1 to 30 frames per second.
Loop
Restarts playback after the final frame. Turn it off to stop on the last frame.
Run animation
Plays or stops the timeline. Editing controls are paused during playback.
Sprite sheet
Downloads every frame side by side as one PNG named with its frame count and FPS.
Joints, limbs and figures
Pin shapes together to build characters with movable arms, legs, torso and head.
Beta testing
Joints are still in beta testing. Joint movement and resizing may behave unexpectedly; save a copy before experimenting. A notice appears when using Joint or selecting a jointed part.
Add figure
Adds a ready-made figure: torso, head, upper and lower arms, and upper and lower legs, all already jointed.
J · Joint tool
Click the main part first (it gets an orange outline), then click the part that should hang off it. The joint snaps to the end of that part nearest the main part. Repeat to build a full rig.
Link: Joint / Group
Joint lets the top shape swing around the pin (circle marker). Group fixes it in place so it just moves along (square marker).
Posing
With Select, drag the body to move the whole figure. Drag a limb or head to swing it around its joint; lower parts follow. The selected part acts as the joint: an orange ring appears at its joint and everything it carries gets a dashed orange outline. Drag the ring or the blue rotate dot to bend it.
Remove joint / Ungroup
Select a pinned shape and choose Remove joint or Ungroup to detach it.
Flow smoothly
Flowing any part of a figure flows the whole figure, so limbs stay attached in between frames.
Flow smoothly
Flow smoothly creates even in-between motion for one editable shape across a range of frames.
1 · Start
On the starting frame, select the shape and choose Flow smoothly. The button changes to Flow starts here · cancel.
2 · Carry it forward
Duplicate the frame so the shape keeps the same identity, then add or duplicate frames until the ending frame.
3 · Set the ending pose
On the ending frame, select that same shape and move, resize, rotate or restyle it.
4 · Stop
Choose Stop flow smoothly. FocalHue evenly fills the shape's position, size, rotation and stroke size across every frame in between.
Cancel
On the starting frame, choose Flow starts here · cancel to remove the pending start point.
Easing
Choose Linear, Ease in, Ease out, or Ease in / out in Properties before Stop flow. Linear keeps speed even; easing changes how quickly motion starts or ends while keeping the endpoints and joints connected. Undo on an affected frame restores that frame's previous pose.
Important
A newly drawn replacement is a different object and cannot complete the flow. Duplicate frames to carry the original object forward.
Video editor
Media, timeline and playback
Import / Media
Import video, audio or images from this device. The library keeps the files available; tap a library item to add another clip at the playhead. Drop files over the preview to import. Browser codec support determines which files can play.
Tracks and select
Text, Overlay, Video and Audio tracks layer the result. Tap a clip to select it; its visual tools appear on the left and sound on the right. Higher visual tracks appear above Video.
Move / Trim / Split
Drag a clip body horizontally to change its start time. Drag an edge to trim the source. Move the playhead inside a clip and press Split (S) to divide it. Edges snap to nearby clip boundaries and the playhead.
Duplicate / Delete / Undo / Redo
Duplicate adds a copy after the selected clip. Delete removes it. Undo and Redo restore timeline and clip edits; one slider drag is one undo step.
Go to start / Play / Pause / Ruler
Go to start returns to zero. Play or Space starts playback; Pause stops. Drag the ruler to scrub. Arrow keys step 1/30 second; Shift + arrows steps one second.
Timeline zoom / Speed / Duration
− and + change timeline magnification, not video resolution. Speed changes video/audio playback from 0.25× to 4×. Duration controls how long an image or text remains visible.
Visual editing on the left
Filters / Aesthetics
Select a video or image clip, then choose a filter. Aesthetics such as VHS, Film or Cinema combine a filter with effects; a new look replaces the previous effect recipe. None clears the preset filter.
Effects / Clear effects
Expand Effects for vignette, grain, scanlines, glitch, glow, shake, tint and video letterboxing. Tint color changes its cast. Clear effects removes these effects from the selected clip.
Crop & flip / Reset
Crop left/right/top/bottom removes an edge percentage of the source. Flip ↔ mirrors horizontally and Flip ↕ vertically. Reset clears crop and flips. Project Shape controls the output frame separately.
Adjust color / Reset color
Brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, blur and sepia tune the selected clip. Reset color clears these adjustments and the filter, while leaving other effects.
Position / Entrance transition
Horizontal, Vertical, Scale, Rotation and Opacity place and fade the clip. Entrance transition offers none, fade, wipe, slide or zoom at its beginning, not a two-clip crossfade.
Text / Stickers
Text offers Title, Subtitle and Caption starting text. Edit the content, font, color, size, bold, background box and animation (fade, pop, slide or typewriter). Stickers adds emoji as editable text clips. Captions are typed manually, not generated from speech.
Point editing
Point edit / Rectangle
Select a video or image clip and open Point edit. Four draggable corners start an editable area. Rectangle resets the points and region transforms to a centered rectangle. On phones, close the tools panel to make room for the preview.
Adjust area / Custom area / Done outlining
Adjust area lets you move the boundary points. Custom area clears the outline so you can tap points around a subject in order. Add at least three, then press Done outlining before deforming the area.
Warp
Drag the target dots to stretch the outlined region toward them. Adjust area changes the source boundary; finish outlining before dragging the deformation targets.
Mask effect
Only the region inside the outline gets the Inside the area brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, blur and grayscale settings. The rest of the image stays unchanged by those region settings.
Motion
Drag target dots to set the ending location. The outlined region moves from the original points toward those targets over the clip’s duration. Scrub the timeline to preview its progress.
Cut out
Drag inside the region to move it. Cut-out scale and Cut-out rotation on the left change that area independently from the whole clip.
Remove last point / Remove point effect / Close
Remove last point works while outlining. Remove point effect clears the region and its deformation. Close point edit hides the handles but keeps the effect. Undo reverses point changes.
Video stats, audio and export
Shape / Quality / Frame rate / Background
The right panel controls landscape, vertical, square and other frame shapes; 480p, 720p, 1080p or 2K resolution; and 24, 25, 30, 50 or 60 fps. Background fills uncovered areas. Higher settings use more device resources.
Volume / Fade in / Fade out / Mute
Select a video with sound or an audio clip. Volume ranges to 200%; Fade in/out smooth the sound at the edges. Mute silences only that clip. Image and text clips have no audio controls.
Export
Export records the canvas and mixed audio in real time at the chosen size and fps. Keep the tab open until it finishes. The browser chooses a supported recording format, usually WebM in Chrome/Edge. There is no MP4 conversion service.
Media & tools / Stats & audio on phones
These top buttons toggle scrollable panels below the preview. Visual tools stay in Media & tools; output settings and sound stay in Stats & audio. The timeline scrolls sideways independently.
Temporary video projects
Video timelines and imported files are not saved across reloads or leaving the video page. Export before leaving. Photo/animation Projects and backups do not include video. Keyframes, reverse playback, auto captions and automatic background removal are not currently available.
Selfie editor
Portrait studio
Open photo / Camera / Sample
Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP, use the device camera where supported, or try the sample portrait. Images stay on your device. Large images are resized to a 2048px longest edge. Selfie edits are temporary; download before leaving or reloading.
Retouch
Skin smoothing works within the centered face region and protects strong edges. Soft glow, Brightness and Warmth adjust the portrait. Open Reshape to position the face area for your photo.
Beauty brushes
Blemish blends small spots with surrounding colors. Whiten brightens and neutralizes teeth; Brighten lifts eyes or shadows. Blush and Lip tint add soft color where you paint. Size and Strength control each brush. A complete stroke is one Undo step.
Reshape
Choose Slim drag, press a cheek, jawline or edge and drag inward. Nearby pixels follow the line toward its endpoint with a live preview. Brush size controls the affected area and strength controls the pull. Each released drag is one Undo step. Select Eye size area outlines an oval for eye enlargement. Face placement controls the fallback face area. These are manual tools, not automatic face detection.
Looks / Filters
Aesthetics replaces previous beauty slider settings while preserving framing and brush edits. Filters offers ten portrait styles with adjustable intensity. Original removes the filter without clearing retouching.
Compare / Undo / Redo / Reset
Compare toggles the unretouched photo and current edits with the same framing. Undo and Redo restore edits. Reset asks for confirmation, keeps the uploaded original and can be undone.
Crop / Mirror / Download
Original, Square, Portrait and Story crop from the image center. Mirror flips horizontally. Download saves JPG; Crop also offers PNG. Downloads include edits even when comparing the original.
